1. Be the person you want to be: Make the decision to take action and move closer to your dream. Create daily success habits and surround yourself with information that will empower and inspire you.
2. Use anger in a positive way to get results: Anger is a normal reaction. It's what you do with anger that makes a difference in your life...direct your anger towards a goal...from anger comes determination...comes triumph.
3. It all starts with a dream: Visualize your dream and make a commitment. Having a dream is what makes life exciting. Never underestimate the power of a dream. It will change your life. A dream gives you the ability to determine your future.
4. Eliminate the confusion: Find mentors who encourage you. The right information will replace confusion. Visualize exactly what you want to be...and focus on that...believe in yourself and don't let anyone stop you. Reinforce your dream every day with positive information from tapes, books, and mentors. Each day you will get closer to your dream. Eliminate the confusion and fears, and make it happen.
5. The greater the struggle, the greater the victory: Most people allow struggles and fear of failure to stop them. The key is to learn from your struggles and move on. Failures will make you stronger and give you the information you need to reach your dream. Struggle will prepare you for success. Without struggle, there is no success.
6. Follow your passion instead of chasing the dollar: There is nothing wrong with making money... but it's important to focus on your passion instead of the dollar. If you focus on what fulfills you, you will have success. The dollar alone does not bring happiness.
7. Excuses will kill your dream: What we are really talking about here is commitment. Until you make a commitment to your dream, it's not really a dream...it's just another fantasy full of excuses. Fantasies don't come true because they're not real; we're not committed to them. When we make commitments, we eliminate excuses and they become dreams... and dreams are definitely real.
8. Prepare for your dream: Preparation is what comes from struggle. Knowledge comes from preparation. These are the elements that pave the road to your dreams. If we do not prepare we will not succeed. Set your goals and pursue them with all your heart. If you miss a goal, don't quit, reset it! You just need to learn more...step by step you will find success.
9. Focus on your dream and never quit: It's always too soon to quit. If you quit, you can't succeed. By achieving your dream you will be an inspiration to others. You will set the example and make an enormous impact on the world, Make It Happen!
10. Always have a dream: Avoid emptiness and mediocrity in your life by always having a dream to shoot for. Dreams give us energy to go to new levels. Dreams change lives…the power of life is in your dreams.

Importance of Change
How often will someone share a list of all the things they want to have and accomplish, that they don't already have, yet live that day the same way they lived the previous one?
If you live on one island and the food supply is on the next island and your dream is to have an endless supply of food at your fingertips, what would you do? If your current strategy is to swim across the river every day at meal times (go to your job) you will need to keep swimming back and forth every day to eat if you don't impose change. But if you take the time to look towards the future (dream) and plan (believe you can have more), take the effort needed to learn how to build a boat (step out of your comfort zone), draw a blueprint (the vision), build it (action), you can sale over the river (achieve it), fill the boat with food and return with plenty to last (bought time), and even start a garden and plant some trees (build a strong foundation) for an endless supply of food (residual income). It will save you both time and energy by changing your actions, and you will get the outcome you desire. What if your shop teacher said you just don't have a builder's thumb? Don't let that stop you...break away from your labels, don't believe you're not capable of building a boat that won't sink, believe that you have the ability and take that step in the right direction to prove it, if the first boat sinks, build another, hold on to hope, persevere with ongoing energy, only then will you succeed.
A comfort zone is a failure zone. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. If you want things to change then You need to change, no matter how much that scares you. Most people want to have more than they have...but in order for that to happen, you need to do more than you are currently doing. And you cannot do more than you already are until you change who you are. If you work on improving your job you can make a lot of money, but if you work on improving yourself you can make a fortune.
Our labels are fables that keep us in stables. Break free of your labels. Labels given to you by society, family, peers, classes, organizations, schools, disabilities...Don't let your difficulties define your life, let your destiny define your life. Helen Keller was not just a deaf, mute and blind woman, she was an Inspirational, phenomenal, strong writer. She did not let her disabilities define her, she let her capabilities make her shine, making what most people would think impossible possible. She quickly became one of my favorite inspirational writers before I ever learned of her disabilities. I was blown away the day I read her life story. Don't let anyone tell you it's not possible to get what you want. More importantly, don't tell yourself it's impossible to get what you want. We all have walls up, circumstances and challenges in our lives. What is needed is the ability to break through those challenges and see past them. We need to learn how to look through that wall of circumstances onto the other side to see the things we want, and only then can we break through the wall to reach everything we desire.
To accomplish success we first need a clear vision, and then hope to hold on to it...don't wait for someone else to prove to you that it's possible. Be a leader in your own life not a follower. Firstly, you can't always believe your eyes, you're eyes can lie. You're eyes are only one way of seeing things, don't let it fool you into believing it's the only way. Take the life of Helen Keller for example, she once said, "The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision." How true that statement is. Most people think seeing is believing. People who are destined to fail say they will believe it when they see it, people who are destined to succeed say they will believe it until they see it. Do you believe you can be successful?
Everything in life you begin to do should begin with the statement "I can...and will...succeed". And as Henry Ford said "there are only 2 kinds of people, those who say they can and those who say they can't...and their both right". So, choose which one you are and that is what you will accomplish. Success begins with a person's will; it's all a state of mind.
One of the biggest problems people face that hold them back from success is being myopic. Rich people think long term, middle class people think midterm, and poor people think short term. Poor people think day to day, medium people think month to month, rich people think decade to decade. This is why it's so important to take the time to think about your future and plan for it, because you're going to spend the rest of your life there.
Why did I choose to take control of my future and become an Entrepreneur? Because I want to be wealthy and Rake In Cash Happily...I don't want to be stuck in a time-drainer Just Over Broke.
Don't let the desire of being rich and wealthy be mixed up with just the desire to be rich. It is much more beneficial to have the desire to be wealthy than it is to be rich. Being rich entails having a lot of money and possessions. Being wealthy includes financial freedom, time freedom, good health and happiness.
This is why it's so important to take care of yourself physically and emotionally. If you ignore your health it will go away...and take your money with it. Unable to afford health care costs is one of the biggest burdens people face today. It doesn't only rob you of time and energy; it drains your wallet too. So always factor in preserving good health on your journey to becoming wealthy. This is partly the reason why I chose health care product businesses to build as my long term income generators. I've established my goals, I have my vision of success, and I'm now taking the steps in the right direction...have you?

First Steps to Success
I've talked about the importance of having a dream, a vision in order to accomplish our goals, but in order to turn those dreams into reality we need to truly believe we can, and keep that hope alive.
Hope isn't a wish, it's an expectation.
Most people project their past into their future, think it's their present and repeat their past. Saying your family is poor is no excuse for you to be. This becomes your expectation, and it must change in order to be successful. So if you've always been poor, release the expectation of being poor. Take control of your destiny. Allow your destiny to define you, not your difficulties of the past. If you expect to be wealthy, healthy, happy, and you take action in the direction to be those things you will accomplish them. You do not need to know exactly how they will be accomplished in detail, but you do need the vision to take actions towards that direction. Believe you can accomplish them, have that faith and make it happen. You should not have to discuss that you believe it will happen, it should show. Beliefs and having faith are not proven by talking about them, but by acting towards them.
We're not born winners and losers, we're choosers. We are what we want to be. Take responsibility for your life: Respond with ability and you'll discover your capability.
People who walk in their power believe their beliefs and doubt their doubts. People who don't walk in their power doubt their beliefs and believe their doubts. If your beliefs are a lie, you are limiting yourself. Focus on your beliefs that tell you that you can be what you want to be, don't focus on the beliefs that will hold you back.
Let's look at some of the lies out there...Time is money. No, time is not equal to money. Time runs out and you can never get it back, however money runs out and you can earn it back. Therefore, time is more valuable than money. Something I have never lost sight of. Most people tend to value money more than time...which is why most people spend so much of their time to earn the small amount of money they do in a 9 to 5 job, 40hrs a week...wasting time. Personally, having put almost every waking moment since November 2007 (when I decided to take control of my destiny) working, many people close to me may feel that that my actions are contradicting this belief that time is more valuable to me than money, due to the endless hrs of work I put in and very little free time I've allowed myself to have. Little do they realize that what I'm doing right now is buying decades and decades of time. To build a foundation to earn more money for my future without having to rely on give 40hrs a week of my time to a 'job', I have released thousands of hours to spend with my family and friends, freed up time to focus on my health and leisure, buying me even more time by drawing a plan to stay strong, healthy, stress free and happy. The most valuable reward of financial freedom is to obtain time freedom. Work to live, don't live to work. Do you have a plan?

Importance of a Dream
Before you can get what you want, you need to know what it is you want...It all starts with a dream. I love the concept of a dream...to think up anything imaginable and see it so clearly in your mind's eye, almost feel it as though it's real, right there and then. I'm speaking of all definitions of a dream...one had while asleep, or a daydream, or hope you hold on to that you feel so passionate about that you can feel it, or even act upon it subconsciously. Recognizing your dreams will not only help you become the person you want to be and do the things you want to do, but it will help you realize the person you already are and allow you to appreciate what you already have.
Since as long as I can remember I have always been able to remember my dreams I have had while asleep...to be honest they are more entertaining than any movie I could ever watch, not to mention very insightful...those who personally know me, know me for my wacky dream adventures. I've grown to notice that my mind is very impressionable, as my dreams are not only influenced by wishes and desires in life, but also from moments in my day, my moods, fears and and anything else I have come in contact with, or something as deep as a suppressed memory that finds its way in a chapter in a dream, not to mention manifestations of an overactive imagination. It's very interesting to me how powerful the mind actually is.
I have always been a visual person...be it in thought or on paper (graphically or in words). And it's not only helped me realize what it is I truly want for myself, but it's helped me figure out how to obtain it.
Last November I had a dream...more of a revelation. I pictured my life the way I wanted it to play out. Every little detail, with dates and locations all planned out. I was determined to make that dream a reality. I decided to dedicate the entire year of 2008 to become financially secure, allowing my dreams to be possible. So, I had the dream...the next step to my dream was to make it a reality by setting goals. Ever move I made form then on was a step forward in reaching those goals. I started off by joining endless online businesses and programs promising wealth and success.
It's been quite a trip to say the least! Along my journey I've had ups and down, highs and lows, personal hurdles, stressful events, lost time with loved ones, health highs and lows, bouts of insomnia, exhaustion leading to 12hr sleeps, moments I've been so busy I forget to eat or stressful times where I just don't have an appetite to eat. I've experienced empty bank accounts and debt for the first time in my life! I've even experienced a death at my job, causing additional stress and sadness to my daily routine. I've had to deal with rejection, rude people, pushy people, ungrateful people and even a few who have tried to take advantage of my generosity. By all means my bubble had been burst! I learned it takes more than being a nice person to receive respect back...I learned real fast that not everyone out there has a noble agenda...it's a harsh world out there, not everyone feels they need a reason to be harsh. So I did grow a thick skin, and even learn to say no (50 online programs later....).
Nevertheless I have met some wonderful people, helpful people, amazing mentors and coaches, and learned a lot over this short period of time from experiences...not only about the world of Internet marketing but of my own strengths, abilities and myself in general. Thankfully it has not changed who I am in any negative manner. I have experienced numerous scams, and government interference with a business that started to generate a very high 5 figure income for me the very month their accounts were frozen, having reinvested every penny i earned back only 2 days before it halted it left me broke. My character, strength and patience were all heavily tested that month...and all the while I never, not once ever lost sight of my dream.
If there's anything I'm certain of about myself, it's that I'm not a quitter.
I am now in a place of peace and hope...unobstructed by any interference. Fulfilling a goal to pay it forward...and enjoying every moment of it. I have not hurdled over my financial woes, but I have reached a place where I can already taste my dream. And along the timely staircase to the top, I want to bring as many people with me as I can. After all, to fulfill your own dreams is one kinda of wonderful, but to know you're a stepping stone to helping someone else fulfill their dreams is a whole other kinda of wonderful ^_^
